Burroughs vs Nurykau: an Olympic champion, but no belt on the line

Jordan Burroughs is not the only Olympic champion on this card. Kyle Snyder, gold in Rio in 2016, defends his light heavyweight belt against Shamil Erdogan. Abdulrashid Sadulaev, gold in 2016 and 2020, faces Dauren Kurugliev in a non-title match. Burroughs, gold in London in 2012, isn't wrestling for a belt either.

Burroughs is 38 and a six-time world champion. He won his first two league matches, over Sean Brady at RAF 12 in August and Magomed Kurbanaliev at RAF Moscow in September.

Azamat Nurykau, 36, is from Dagestan and wrestles for Belarus. This will be his first RAF match.

Four of the 13 matches on 14 November have a title on the line; this middleweight bout isn't one of them. RAF Abu Dhabi tickets for Etihad Arena are on sale.
